Apparently Asus wants to reinvent surround sound. The EmbracingSound Theater HD technology was implemented especially for this project.

In order to get a perfect 5.1 sound in the ears, six loudspeakers, which have to be placed in front of and behind the listener, are necessary.

Asus has now developed a speaker box that stands in front of the user.

In turn, 5 loudspeakers are integrated in this box.

The new method should still be able to display a surround sound.

Due to special sound directions and changed bass and treble frequencies, no difference to 6 speakers distributed in the room should be audible.

Unfortunately, neither the price nor the release date has been set for the Asus Cine5 Sound Bar.
