IFA: Samsung launches transparent showcase display

Square LED screen as a second B2B product in trade fair luggage

Samsung posted on its official company blog http://global.samsungtomorrow.com announced the availability of two new types of displays. The transparent 22-inch model "NL22B" is available either individually or as an all-in-one display case, which promises new possibilities in sales presentation. The square LED display "UD22B", on the other hand, is designed to easily combine up to 100 pieces for large-area installations. According to the manufacturer, both B2B products will be presented at IFA Berlin 2012 http://ifa-berlin.com presented to the general public from August 31st to September 5th.

Transparent promotional

A year and a half ago, Samsung announced the start of mass production of transparent 22-inch panels for marketing purposes. What can be seen at the IFA hits exactly in this notch. In the all-in-one version, the NL22B comes in the form of a showcase, one front of which forms the transparent display. This enables images and information about the product on display to be displayed, which can also interact dynamically with the goods.

The all-in-one offer also includes a built-in PC, loudspeakers and LED lighting to enable a really successful product presentation. The design of the showcase itself should also contribute to this, the other sides of which are made of safety glass, while the frame construction is made of smooth metal. Alternatively, Samsung also offers the transparent display in a version intended for wall mounting.

100 displays can be combined in any way

The UD22B is not primarily intended to score with its unusual shape - a square with a 21,6 inch screen diagonal - but with the ability to combine up to 100 displays as desired, from simple rectangular wall installations to 3D sculptures. This should enable creative sales presentations regardless of the spatial conditions. A glare distance of just 5,5 millimeters ensures practically undisturbed images across the displays, which are designed to be simply plugged together.
