VoIP provider Sipgate is expanding its IP-based satellite service

Calling worldwide for free is no longer an issue with WhatsApp and Co. these days. But if you want to call a phone number, this is not possible with WhatsApp. The company Sipgate has developed its app called Satellite for this purpose.
With Satellite you can call a maximum of 100 minutes a month for free in 51 countries. Not only can you reach someone, you can also be reached via a telephone number. The only important thing is that you have a good data connection to the Internet and for that you usually need a SIM card.

From now on it is possible to make almost unlimited calls with € 5 per month. What does almost mean? Sipgate relies on fair use, whereby fair use is not clearly defined by the company. One should simply not take advantage of this offer and establish a permanent connection. Otherwise the connection will be cut.
Unfortunately, there is currently only one iOS app. An Android app is still in progress.
