Nokia wants to charge cell phone batteries by movement

Nokia has applied for a patent for a process in the USA which can charge cell phone batteries with electricity only with the movement of the user.

Forgot the charging cable? No power outlet nearby? According to Nokia, everything will soon be history.

The company is currently working on a method that can only charge the battery by moving.

To do this, the interior of the cell phone is stored on rails.

These allow the inner components to move back and forth.

Small piezocrystals are compressed in this way and generate the electricity required.
