Problems since the Windows 10 April update?

Microsoft has released a cumulative update for the Windows 10 April version

Since the April update from Microsoft, Windows 10 users have reported network problems. This problem will be fixed immediately if you install the update KB4284848 (OS Build 17134.137). This update has been available since yesterday. As it is a cumulative update, some bugs will be fixed. New functions are not included.

 

To get the update, simply open the Cortana search and "look for updatesEnter "and confirm> start Windows Update

 

This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are introduced in this update. The most important changes include:

  • Addresses an issue that could cause the HDR Streaming Calibration slider to stop working. This is caused by a conflict with the brightness settings of certain OEMs. 
  • Resolves compatibility issues with certain providers of live TV streaming content. 
  • Resolves an issue in which media content previously generated by Media Center will not play after installing the Windows April 10, 2018 update. 
  • Fixes an issue where SmartHeap would not work with UCRT. 
  • Addresses the performance regression in App-V that slows down many actions in Windows 10. 
  • Fixes an issue that could cause Appmonitor to stop working when you log out if the settings storage path is set incorrectly. 
  • Fixes an issue that could cause Appmonitor to stop working when you log out and user settings not to be saved. 
  • Fixes an issue where client applications running in a container image do not match the dynamic port range. 
  • Addresses an issue where the DNS server would stop working when using DNS query resolution policies with a "Not Equal" (NE) condition. 
  • Addresses an issue with custom T1 and T2 values ​​after configuring DHCP failover. 
  • Fixes an issue where the latest versions of Google Chrome (67.0.3396.79+) no longer work on some devices. 
  • Resolves issues with the Remote Desktop Client where pop-up windows and drop-down menus do not appear and a right-click does not work properly. These problems occur when using remote applications. 
  • Fixes a problem that causes a connection drop if a remote desktop connection does not read the bypass list for a proxy with multiple entries.
  • Addresses an issue that could cause Microsoft Edge to stop working when it initializes a font download from an incorrect (non-RFC compliant) URL.
  • Addresses an issue in which some users may receive an error when accessing files or running programs from a shared folder using the SMBv1 protocol. The error is "An invalid argument was supplied".
  • Fixes a problem in which Task Scheduler tasks configured with an S4U login fail with the error "ERROR_NO_SUCH_LOGON_SESSION / STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT".
  • Fixes a performance problem with Windows Mixed Reality on some laptops with hybrid graphics cards, such as Surface Book 2.
