Android 8 Oreo is gradually being delivered on many smartphones. The next version, Android 9, is already in the starting blocks. Google wants to improve the operation with gestures with Android P, the marketing name. Everything is certainly not new, but a little different and maybe better.

Another new feature is that the apps no longer overlap, as is the case with Android 8, but rather a complete miniature view of the open apps is displayed.

In order to improve the battery life, Android is analyzing the user more and more. It should close running apps when it is no longer expected to be used. Frequently used apps are excluded. Furthermore, Android should also know which screen brightness is good and thus also save the battery.
