Due to sporadic fan control failures, Nvidia has withdrawn its latest graphics driver version 196.75 and removed it from its website.

In connection with some graphics cards, the fan control does not seem to work correctly on GeForce cards. According to users in the Nvidia support forums, the fans stay at 20 percent even though the heated card needs more power.
We are working on a new driver and by then Geforce users should use the older driver from the previous version 196.21.
