The new Firefox version is now there with version 61. The Quantum engine only renders elements that have changed on a website and thus speeds up rendering.

Switching between tabs is now smoother and can be switched invisible / visible.

In terms of security, Mozilla has also integrated the new TLS 1.3 standard in the new version, making connections between the website and browser more secure. But not only the browser but also the website must support the TLS 1.3 standard.
