With the FRITZ! Box 7272, AVM presents the successor to the popular FRITZ! Box 7270. The new FRITZ! Box model supports all ADSL connections and all telephony options. The FRITZ! Box 7272 has an integrated telephone system for Internet telephony, analog and ISDN landline networks. The integrated DECT base, which can be used to register up to six telephones, enables cordless telephony.

Thanks to even more powerful networking options with high speeds via both cable and WLAN, the FRITZ!Box* 7272 is ideal as a multimedia center in the home network. The new FRITZ!Box* 7272 from AVM is now available in stores for 179 euros.

Fast home network with WLAN N up to 450 Mbit / s and Gigabit Ethernet
The FRITZ!Box* 7272 is ideal for networked applications such as IP-TV, video on demand or media streaming. Notebooks, smartphones, tablets and multimedia devices receive an ultra-fast connection to the Internet and home network via the integrated ADSL2+ modem, two fast Gigabit LAN ports as well as two Fast Ethernet ports and high-speed WLAN-N. WLAN-N technology enables wireless data transfer of up to 450 MBit/s in the 2,4 GHz frequency band. Further developed WLAN transmission methods lead to significantly improved radio coverage and at the same time better data rates - even over longer distances.

Versatile telephony via DECT base station as well as analog and ISDN
The FRITZ!Box* 7272 is equipped with a telephone system for Internet telephony as well as analogue and ISDN landline networks. In addition to a DECT base station for up to six cordless telephones, these include two analogue connections for telephones, fax machines or answering machines and a connection for ISDN telephones. Films, photos, music in the entire home network
The FRITZ!Box* 7272 has a USB 2.0 interface for connecting USB accessories such as printers or hard drives that can be used across the entire network. The extended NAS functionality enables the seamless connection of online storage to the home network. An integrated media server makes content stored there such as films, music and pictures available throughout the network even when the computer is switched off. Internet radio and podcasts can also be played at any time via UPnP AV-enabled devices (e.g. HD televisions or home theater systems).

The FRITZ!Box* 7272 has extensive functions thanks to the FRITZ!OS software. These include, for example, the integration of online telephone books, the integration of online storage into the media server, fax sending or smart home support.
