FRITZ! Box 6810 LTE FRITZ! Box manufacturer AVM at IFA 2012 with innovations for broadband, home network, smart home and LTE

Under the motto “Everywhere at home”, the Berlin communications specialist AVM is presenting its premieres at IFA 2012. In Hall 17, AVM is showing new products for the rapidly growing home networking and the trend towards more bandwidth. Visitors can experience IFA innovations for VDSL and LTE as well as for in-house networking live in action at the AVM trade fair stand. And the first intelligent socket from AVM connects the home network with the smart home. AVM is celebrating another IFA premiere with the new “LTE direct” campaign, which offers attractive prices FRITZ!Box* LTE is available together with a Vodafone LTE broadband connection.

FRITZ!Box 6810 LTE – new FRITZ!Box* for more performance and convenience with LTE

AVM is expanding its commitment to LTE broadband radio. After the successful start of the FRITZ!Box* The new 6840 LTE is coming to IFA FRITZ!Box* 6810 LTE on the market. This model relies on a new design developed specifically for LTE use. The FRITZ!Box* 6810 LTE combines all functions important for communication in one device: LTE radio, WLAN N, LAN connection and DECT base station. The landline connection can be completely eliminated because the FRITZ!Box* 6810 Telephony via LTE (Voice over LTE) supported. The new FRITZ!Box* LTE model transmits on the two LTE frequency bands 800 MHz and 2,6 GHz. At just 6 cm wide and 13 cm high, it fits FRITZ!Box* 6810 LTE ideal for every windowsill. FRITZ!Box* 6810 LTE is available from IFA for 229 euros (RRP).

FRITZ! WLAN Repeater 310 - 300 Mbit / s with an extremely small size

AVM is presenting the FRITZ! WLAN Repeater 310 for the first time at the IFA. The new model impresses above all with its small and compact design. Only 8 cm high and around 6 cm wide, it is no bigger than a socket. The FRITZ! WLAN Repeater 310 is particularly powerful, transmits with WLAN N and up to 300 Mbit / s and uses Transmit Beam Forming (TxBF) for a higher data throughput. Five LEDs for displaying the field strength facilitate optimal positioning in the apartment. The average power consumption is around 2 watts. The new FRITZ! WLAN Repeater automatically takes over the night service of a FRITZ! Box. The connection is made easily and securely at the push of a button via the WPS button. The new FRITZ! WLAN Repeater 310 is available after the IFA for 49 euros (RRP).

FRITZ! Powerline 530E and 510E - even more energy efficient, especially small

With FRITZ! Powerline 530E and 510E, AVM is expanding its powerline product range. With their 100 Mbit LAN connection, both models are even more energy-efficient in operation and economical in standby. Due to the very small dimensions (510E: 5,7 cm wide x 7,8 cm high x 2,7 cm deep) they can be used inconspicuously at any socket. The 530E also has an integrated socket. Like the current Powerline products 520E and 500E equipped with Gigabit LAN, the new products 530E and 510E also rely on data transfers of up to 500 Mbit / s over the power line. FRITZ! Powerline is ideally suited for high-speed home networking with a FRITZ! Box, NAS connection, HD and 3D entertainment or music and video streaming anywhere in the house. Both products will go on sale in October.

FRITZ! DECT 200 - the first intelligent socket from AVM

For the first time, AVM is connecting the home network with the smart home and is presenting FRITZ!DECT 200, an intelligent socket, at IFA. The successful DECT technology is also used for measuring, regulating and controlling home automation. The clever functions include, for example, the use of a weekly calendar, an astro function (sunrise and sunset) for automatic switching or control via a Google calendar. FRITZ!DECT 200 measures the energy consumption of connected devices, even over a longer period of time, and provides information about power consumption and switching times via pushmail. The intelligent socket can be used in conjunction with a FRITZ!Box* With integrated DECT base you can also control it via PC or telephone. And via the MyFRITZ! service FRITZ!Box* FRITZ!DECT can also be accessed while on the go. Like all FRITZ! products, FRITZ!DECT 200 also has an update function so that additional applications can be integrated via a firmware update. The intelligent socket is integrated into the home network via DECT ULE (Ultra-low Energy). In contrast to other radio technologies in home automation, DECT ULE relies on its own frequency band at 1880 MHz. This ensures interception security and a long range between 50 and 300 meters. Following the IFA, FRITZ!DECT 200 will be available first in the FRITZ! Laboratory available.

LTE direct - AVM starts for IFA LTE direct marketing

The Berlin communications specialist is launching its new LTE direct campaign at IFA 2012. This gives interested parties one FRITZ!Box* LTE together with a Vodafone LTE broadband connection at attractive conditions. From just 23,99 euros per month, users receive an LTE broadband connection including telephony with two lines and up to 10 phone numbers. There are four speeds from 3,6 MBit/s to 50 MBit/s for fast Internet and telephony via LTE. LTE direct is offered nationwide by IT specialist retailers. By immediately activating the SIM card, the waiting times for activation that are common with other broadband access systems are eliminated. At the start there is a particularly attractive offer with up to 21,6 MBit/s download and 5,7 MBit/s upload speed including a telephone flat rate for Germany for 38,99 euros.
