Windows 10: The next feature without sets

Redstone 5 without Windows sets

Via the so-called feature Windows set we have in the news Redstone 5 is the next feature update for Windows 10 reported. Redstone 5 is expected to be released in the fall of 2018. The release is expected in October, by which time the update should be ready. Why is Microsoft actually taking the feature out?

Microsoft is relying more and more on feedback and software quality. The reason why Windows Sets won't come until next year is probably due to the Windows Insider Program. There are still too many technical issues that should be resolved before a release, as well as feedback on the subject.

In the latest version, Build 17704, the Windows sets have already been thrown out. As mentioned, this feature will not be available until 2019, but then with other other features.

What does the Windows Sets feature do?

In pre-release versions of Redstone 5 With Windows Sets, this feature extends the app window with tabs, as is known from browsers, with the help of which further app instances can be combined. Windows should no longer relate exclusively to individual apps, but to files, apps and websites and much more.
