In Word 2010, Microsoft has made it much easier for the user to adjust various spaces in a document. The preset line spacing, which is 2010pt in the previous versions as well as in the current version 1,15, is not suitable for many users in addition to the spacing after a paragraph of 10pt.

To do this, click on Change Styles in the ribbon menu under the Home tab.
What is hidden behind each option can be found via a small information box that appears after a short time as soon as you aim the mouse pointer at it*.
If no suitable option is included in this list, you can also click on Custom paragraph spacing at the very bottom.
In this window, you can define the required values. Finally, select the option " New documents based on this template" to use these settings in the future. To apply these settings to existing documents, select the "Import/Export" button . Click " OK" to close the window and begin working.
