Word 2010: Save graphic from document

Icon_Word10_33x32In Word 2010, the command was As a Save graphic added to the context menu of a graphic that was previously only available in PowerPoint. Microsoft has thus responded to the calls for help from users who previously had to copy graphics via the clipboard into image processing programs. In addition to more work, there were of course also losses in terms of image quality. This was felt, among other things, by those who frequently received images in Word documents by e-mail.

With the new command you can now easily create any images with a Right click save as a separate JPEG file.

The numerous ones in Word are also interesting SmartArtsthat make it possible to make your documents expressive. In addition, the editing of the SmartArts in the new version has been improved for the benefit of the user.

2_SmartArt

For example, if you want to save a finished SmartArt graphic in the same way as a picture in a separate JPEG file, you can do this via a small detour. If you first try right-clicking on the SmartArt graphic, you will see that the command Save as graphic is missing.

 

 

In order to be able to choose the command anyway, copy the SmartArt graphic as well Ctrl + C and simply fits in with Ctrl + V at any point again. When inserting, a small context menu opens in Word 2010 with Paste options.

3_Insert

Here you have to click the marked button Schedule choose to then at a renewed right-click the desired command on the graphic in the context menu Save as graphic to obtain.
