For example, annoying optical effects can be switched off, the system can be secured or the Internet Explorer can be expanded to include useful functions.

TuneUp® WinStyler
gives Windows a personal touch, for example by exchanging the symbols or even redesigning the entire surface under Windows XP.

TuneUp Disk Cleaner
Searches drives specifically for temporary and superfluous files and frees them from useless ballast.

TuneUp Registry Cleaner
detects invalid entries and errors in the registry and corrects them.

TuneUp Uninstall Manager
removes applications that are no longer required.

1-click maintenance
This means that frequent maintenance work such as cleaning the hard disk and the registry can be carried out with just one click of the mouse and can even be fully automated.

TuneUp System Optimizer
optimizes the system and internet settings and also gives valuable tips on configuration.

TuneUp MemOptimizer
monitors the system in the background and optimizes the main memory if necessary.

TuneUp Process Manager and TuneUp Registry Editor

TuneUp Startup Manager

offers control which programs should be started automatically at system start and user login.

TuneUp system information
provides extensive information about the computer's hardware and software.

TuneUp Undelete
can recover accidentally deleted files even if the Windows Recycle Bin fails.

TuneUp shredder

And finally ...

In conclusion, it should be said that at least the author of the test recommends this "ingeniously easy-to-use tool".
It's not free, but it's worth the investment.
