How do I install a Vista upgrade installation separately without XP ?!

Last year 2006 we had the following situation. Hardware sales were slow because many buyers were waiting for the new Vista operating system to come out and for this reason decided not to buy a new computer. That's when Microsoft had the idea of boosting purchases by working with hardware providers to create the option of selling so-called upgradeable computer systems that were still equipped with a variant of XP, but offered the opportunity to upgrade for free after the release of Vista (only Shipping/handling fee) to upgrade

Vista End User Agreement from Microsoft
No sooner said than done - Vista upgrade is here, but unfortunately I am now informed by Microsoft of the following circumstance or end user agreement:

Quote Microsoft (included as a note on the upgrade DVD):

"This Windows Vista software replaces the Microsoft Windows XP software that is capable of updating this software. You may only install and use this software on the device on which you purchased the Windows XP software."

I had already read this notice when I decided last year to buy a new computer with XP Pro and an upgrade voucher.
But now I was very surprised that I upgraded this Vista version to the existing XP installation should iron. Any other attempt to install was denied.
Every experienced user does not see the meaning and logic and still wants a fresh, clean system.
So I just follow the advice given above and install the Vista upgrade alone, without XP, on my computer.

And that works with the following trick:
- Prepare the computer so that there is a clean hard drive or partition on your computer.
- The computer must be able to boot from the DVD.
- Now insert the Vista upgrade installation DVD and boot the system.
- The Vista setup program starts.
- Now save Enter the installation key and no Cross with automatic activation!

- It is important that you now have the existing Vista version installed that you have available as an upgrade
- Carry out the installation until the restart

And now the real trick:

- Vista installation DVD is still in the drive (if not, insert it)
- Start Explorer and start Setup.exe in the directory on the DVD
- Warnings or notices that the Cannot identify the publisher of the program, to ignore
- Now perform an upgrade installation with an installation key
- Don't be shocked that the hint is coming can take a few hours, I think it is worth the effort and time
- After a while the effort is done and the computer has completed the action.

And the last trick to finish:

In order to use a clean system now, one more Disk Cleanup be performed:
- Start> Enter in the search field> Datent
- Select installation drive of Vista and files from all users of the computer
- Now a cross Delete files discarded during Windows upgrade
- Take action and you have a fresh Vista!
I used this trick myself for my Vista Business upgrade. I followed the advice from Microsoft and replaced my XP Pro version. I don't think I can be accused of cheating a little as a violation of the Eula regulations. The license exists, there is only one running operating system.
So, have fun trying it out.
