Vista - Check activation
To check whether a Windows Vista installation has been activated, all you need to do is enter a small command.
After a few seconds, detailed information about the activation status will be displayed.
How do I check the activation status of Windows Vista?
Open the To run Dialog by pressing the key combination Windows key + R
Here carry the order slmgr.vbs -dli and confirm with OK
Now it takes a while for the Windows Script Host opens and displays the available information on the activation status.
As can be seen in the screenshot, the information is structured as follows:
- Name
- Description
- Part product key
- License status
Stands Licensed under License status the installed Windows Vista version has already been activated successfully.
