Check whether your system is compatible with Windows 11

Microsoft has raised the bar for the hardware requirements significantly, so that the system, which is actually still well-equipped, does not meet the requirements.
If you want to test whether your own device meets the system requirements for Windows 11, you can do this in several ways.
I present three ways. Check by WindowsUpdate, The tools Whynotwin11 and Windows 11 Requirements Check Tool.

 

Many systems usually fail because of an incompatible CPU or insufficient TPM support.

There are now tools that put the system through its paces and clearly show whether the system requirements are met or what is wrong.

 

Check with Windows Update

The first port of call for a check should be the Windows Update. With "Search - Windows Update“Call up the Windows Update.
A good idea is to look for updates first or to carry out any updates that may be offered. Usually, however, Windows Update already shows whether the system meets the requirements for Windows 11 Fulfills.

In this case the system is obviously not suitable, even though an Intel i5 processor is present.
In that case, click on the Link PC Integrity Check. A browser page is called up from which the "PC health check app“Can be downloaded. It will be the WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup.exe downloaded.

Install the tool. It starts right after the installation. Now click on "Check it now".

The test device did not meet the system requirements. As is so often the case, the CPU and TPM 2.0 support fail.
