The inconspicuous send-to menu can also be made much more convenient with just a few clicks. There are two options available. On the one hand, an extended version of it can be opened and, on the other hand, it can be individually adapted.

1. Extended version of the menu
To do this, simply hold down the Shift key when clicking on a file with the right mouse button.

2. Customize the menu

There is also a solution for those who prefer to compose the menu themselves.

In the open Windows Explorer make the following entry in the address line:

shell: sendto

shell: sendto
shell: sendto

Now you get a list of the entries in the menu.

Any entries can now be deleted or new links can be added. In addition to links to frequently used personal folders, it is advisable to create one from the editor. This means that text files can then be displayed without any problems in the future.
To do this, click with the right mouse button in a free area and then create a new link.

In the following wizard you enter the storage location "notepad". For other shortcuts, select the" Browse "button to select certain already existing folders.

Now you just have to assign a suitable name, which should appear later in the menu. In our example, the name "Editor" is recommended.
