Windows 7 change the position of the taskbar

Windows 7 change the position of the taskbar

Users who install Windows 7 on a netbook naturally have very little space on the screen.

It would be better to have the taskbar on the side of the screen.
Changing that is not a problem.

Right-click the start icon and select Properties.

In the new window choose: Taskbar

Now we can set the position of the taskbar.
To do this, first select: Fix the taskbar.

After that, under: Position of the taskbar on the screen, we have to select: "Left".

I have now chosen left here because the gadgets are usually placed on the right.

After the settings have been changed, click on: Apply.

Now confirm with OK and the taskbar has moved to the left and now offers a lot more space on the screen.

If you also click in the menu: "Automatically hide the taskbar", this is only displayed when the mouse is dragged to the left edge of the screen.

This results in a little more screen size.

Have fun trying.
