Block the Internet for programs with the Windows 7 firewall

Windows 7 general
Nowadays, programs use the Internet connection as if it were taken for granted. These manners can be driven out with a firewall rule, thus ensuring that the selected programs can no longer establish a connection.

The programs continue to run without restrictions, only you cannot connect to the Internet. It should also be noted that the programs can no longer be updated.

 

Start Windows Firewall:

Enter Start> firewall and confirm with Enter

Set up firewall rule:

First in the left column Outgoing rules Select and in the right column on New rule... . click


Outgoing rules

Then the wizard opens, here you select the menu item Program and the program directory via Search... the end. Go to the next point with Next>
