As in Windows Vista, it is also possible to deactivate the user account control under Windows 7.
Every user has to decide for himself whether it makes sense to deactivate the UAC, especially since Windows 7 has been significantly improved in this regard.
We would like to show you the way to deactivate the UAC.
Go to:
Home -> All programs -> Accessories -> To run
or enter directly into the search field under Start msconfig .
In the new window go to: Tools
The second entry is immediately: Change UAC settings.
Click on this entry and a window with a slider will open.
If the controller is pulled all the way down and with: OK approved.
The UAC is now deactivated and no more security queries should appear.
It is of course also possible to deactivate the UAC via the registry.
Only users who have experience in dealing with the registry should choose this route.
Here is the way:
First, the registration database is opened via the search box via »regedit" opened
Then navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ System
Here you create one now DWORD value with the label EnableLUA and assigns this to the Value 0 zu
Then you create another DWORD value with the label ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin and also awards the here Value 0
