Navigate through the Windows 7 taskbar using the keyboard

For keyboard friends, Windows 7 offers keyboard navigation through the programs. This tip will really speed up working with Windows and the keyboard.


The key combination to start the mode for navigating through the system tray is Windows key + T.
If no window is open yet, you can use the Left- and Right arrow key navigate through the programs pinned to the system tray. With Enter key the selected program can be started. If several instances of a program have been started, you can use the Up arrow key navigate and use the Down arrow key hide the windows again.
