Speed up network (disable task search)

When accessing available shared folders, Xp first searches for scheduled tasks on other network computers.
This costs unnecessarily time when accessing files.

How do I turn off the search for scheduled tasks?

Start >> run >> regedit

Find this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ RemoteComputer \ NameSpace

The subkey D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF Clear.

To reactivate the task search, simply create the subkey again.
