Error message: STOP: 0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Error message:

STOP: 0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Possible Cause:

The I / O system has not been initialized.
This is mostly the boot disk or the file system.

Possible solution:

Often times, this stop message is caused by a boot sector virus.
A virus scan with an updated version could help.

If new hardware has been installed beforehand, then you remove it because it
could possibly be corrupt.
In most cases, however, 0x0000007B Inaccessible boot device also means that the
System partition can no longer be accessed at startup.
To run chkdsk / r (under the NTFS file system with chkdsk / f / r), you have to go to the recovery console.
See also Install, use, and upgrade the Recovery Console
The use of the fixboot and fixmbr commands would also be a possible solution.

If normal formatting of the hard disk / partition does not help, then "low-level" formatting would be
(Martox offers a corresponding software) a next step.
However, this is a deep intervention in the structure of the hard disk and should be treated with caution.
This divides the hard disk into new sectors and tracks.

There is also the possibility that the HDD is no longer completely OK - even if it is new.

If you are using IDE devices, you should use the IDE connector integrated on the hard disk as a
?? Only primary ?? set using the device manager. The settings for ?? Master / Slave only ?? for
the IDE devices should also be checked.
However, if you are using SCSI adapters, you should install the latest drivers.
Synchronization negotiation for SCSI devices should be disabled.
You also make sure that the SCSI chain has the correct terminating resistor and that the SCSI IDs have been checked.
