After deleting a file, Windows 7 and all previous versions first put it in the recycle bin before it is finally deleted from the system. With larger quantities, this detour via the wastebasket can be very annoying and time-consuming. In this article I want to list two ways that can make it easier to delete files related to the Recycle Bin.
There is another way.
- Enter> regedit <in the search field
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Policies / Explorer
- Re-click in the free area of the right window
- new: DWORD value NoRecycleFiles
- Double click on the new entry
- Base = hexadecimal value = 1
Then the files are deleted without going through the recycle bin.
