So I'm with Kabel BW (Baden-Württemberg), there is still Kabel Deutschland, if you have any questions I am at your disposal. I've been with it for 8 years.
If you live in rent, there are a few things to consider. At the moment I can't give you any precise details. Kabel's customer service team will help you, if not, I'll have to ask a friend about it.
Since a box (signal input distributor) has to be installed in the house, the tenant needs a permit from the landlord. As a homeowner, that's not a problem.
Cable then provides a box (end device), on this box you have 1 network connection for a router, or alternatively directly with a cable to the PC. In addition, I still have 2 telephone connections.
You need a double-shielded TV cable from the signal input to the transfer point in the apartment, that is a socket with 2 outputs 1x cable and 1x Internet, which is usually installed by the operator (included in the recording fee) as a short info. More questions about it, I would say as a PM since it is not a topic for the forum. OK
Greetings Cuckoo
Of course, this topic can be discussed here in the forum.
The advantages and disadvantages of the respective providers are certainly also interesting and worth reading for other users.

What I just want to know about this matter; is the Internet really so much better via TV cable than via my analog telephone line?
As I said, T-Online can only provide 16000, Unitymedia could provide 32000.
I've already checked the availability --- fits --- but I'm still skeptical ---
Right?
Greetings to everyone
Hello
Of course I also read smartly on this topic.!
And as far as I could find out, the users of Unitymedia are very satisfied with the offer.
The provider even provides more performance than promised.
Thanks ! then good first! I still have 1 year with T-Online, but they take care of that too when I talk to Unitymedia for the first time. Call there tomorrow! Should come and arrange the clutter for me! And then --- if everything is in the paint, I'll get back to you on the subject!
If you don't try anything, you die stupid
I'm really excited .... Oops
Good luck for ! Sun Dance
Their internet sucks! It's slow and you get disconnected EVERY SINGLE DAY! Their customer service does not speak English and literally only hangs up when asked if they speak English. I am disgusted with the company and its services. DO NOT USE UNITY MEDIA !!!!!!!
It's going ok. I am actually satisfied with UnityMedia
I also switched back to Telekom, which is € 10 more a month and you have it
practically never a problem.
The topic is now under monument protection . But maybe it is interesting that Vodafone now offers 1000 Mbit / s lines (download). Internet and landline telephony. I pay 39,99 per month including a supplied FritzBox Cable (permanent). After initial difficulties, the whole thing works satisfactorily at the promised speed (at least close to).
