On my new Acer I wanted to install a 32 bit win 7 because I bought it some time ago. But it has more RAM than my old PC, so you could also play a 64 version up. Is there the registry key of the 32 also for, or is it invalid?
64 or 32 bit?

As far as I know, this is not possible. Because the key for each product is linked and 64 bit is a separate product.

I haven't tried it myself. But apparently it is possible (under license law) if you only use the key once. In addition, the version must obviously be the same. So home or professional. I would just test it.

Oh, I read your message wrong, thought you had Win 7 on your old computer and you want to use the same key for 64 bit on your new Acer.

Hallo,
I also have 32 bit and am completely satisfied. I used to have 64 bit and everything was okay.
