New.

Even if the device is 3 months old?
Of course, a used smartphone is almost as good as new after 3 months and probably costs a lot less than new, but it's worth the difference to me.

I actually always buy my smartphones used on eBay, just wait a few months, then you can simply save a lot of money
Hello people,
do you always buy your smartphones new or used?
In the meantime I only buy mine new because there is so much choice available for relatively little money. Normally, I would recommend that everyone not buy used smartphones because you never know what the smartphone has already done. Be it physically or on a virtual level (viruses, etc.)

Does it matter if they are completely overhauled by the dealer?
There are also a lot of startups that are doing something
Yes, mine are always completely overhauled.
Hi all,
Up until now I have always bought my smartphones new, but when I buy the next one, I tend to buy it used. Mainly because it is often much cheaper than a new one.
But I would not buy it from a private provider, such as Ebay, but from dealers who check the smartphones beforehand and reset them to the factory settings. So you always have a contact person if something does not fit with the device at the beginning, and a certain degree of security.

I always use my cell phone for a long time and then buy a new one when I need a new one. When it comes to my cell phone, I'd rather have a new one. Just don't buy a new one every year
Difficult Decision.
The lifespan of mobile phones and smartphones is of course always very limited and even if you decide on a refurbished model, in most cases you will have to get a new model after 1-2 years at the latest.
If price is your concern, then cell phone rental might be a viable option for you. An article at presents some exciting providers where you can rent the latest mobile phones for a certain period of time for a monthly fee.
