Double Driver performs a backup. The tool then analyzes all hardware drivers that are on the computer. This clearly lists the program (see table above) with the most important details, such as: B. Manufacturer, exact version number and the date of installation.
Now you can check for yourself whether these drivers are still up to date or already completely out of date. In addition, the tool can burn all or certain drivers onto a disc so that all drivers are readily available in the event of a system breakdown!

Do you have information about what the program says about Win98? Didn't find anything on the manufacturer's website, but I have such a problem here, Win98, the tool would come as it was called.

Can be used without hesitation from Win 9x!

Nice idea. You have dug up something fine. Kaiserfive!
Do you already know in which form the saved drivers are saved? Surely the dll's, registry entries etc. individually in directories?
If necessary, new ones will be added . Inf- Does the program create files or only use those saved in Windows? Can the saved drivers be reintegrated without any problems even after a complete new installation of the OS? Maybe even all in one go?Regards

This tool should create a separate folder for each hardware component and save all information about the driver there, dll, inf, everything.
If you build z. If, for example, a new hardware component is added after the system has been set up again, the old drivers of the omitted component can be recognized on the driver backup CD thanks to the folder structure and this driver does not have to be installed.
This is the advantage that not everything is mixed up when all drivers are backed up.
It could be integrated into the unattended installation of the workshop.
