Hello, the sub-forum seems to be quite referenced. Let's try anyway.
I would like to set up a new PC, budget between € 800 and € 900. Purpose: recoding and editing BR films (80%), office, internet. So I want to have a powerful CPU. Performance is very important. Recoding a BR currently takes 12 hours for me, a friend with a six-core does it in 6 hours. If it goes faster, the better. Hence performance! I don't play games, so a small GPU does it, maybe none at all. However, it should be possible to play a BR for test purposes. The motherboard must have an eSATA connection because of the external BR burner.
Now my suggestion:
CPU: i7-2700K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z 68XP-UD4 or AS Rock Z68 Extreme 4 3rd Gen.
Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro
RAM: 8GB Gell Enhance Corsa PC-10667U CL9-9-9-24 DDR3-1333 1600 makes sense?
Housing: 3R System Design R490
Mains: Cougar cmx 550Watt
Graphics: Asus Engt 440 DC SL / DI / GD3
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB 5900 Sata 3 6Gb
I have a burner, card reader, etc.
Price: 831.- €Ask for your opinion or suggestions for improvement.

Thanks for the tip michael.
I also found the solution by accident. I restarted my computer. Then it went smoothly. Why? No idea!:(
It definitely helped. But your tip is always useful. -
Hello, I have a large file on the desktop that I would like to delete.
Unfortunately the program refuses to delete it. The deletion begins, then appears
the message that I need administration rights, then I press "Continue", the deletion process continues briefly, the message "You must receive authorization from" xxxx-PC / xxxx in order to be able to make changes to this folder appears. "I've tried everything possible under" Properties "- Sharing and Security. Has anyone any tip? -
Doesn't anyone have any more ideas?

Yes, Vista was installed with upgrade to W7. It wasn't in the beginning. But it got noticeably worse. The touchpad is switched off. Why new driver? But I'll do it.
Driver is up to date.

Hello, I have a Medion P6620 notebook. This has been annoying for a long time with the fact that the cursor suddenly jumps somewhere while writing. Usually in a different place in the already written text or in a different place on the desktop. Then the picture disappears upwards. That’s really annoying. I have already set the key speed to max. Then deactivated the touchpad. Furthermore, four are suspected again and again in similar articles. But my programs don't find anything. And I'm already writing in slow motion.
Does somebody still have an idea? -
So I did it. I dismantled the external hard drive and uninstalled the Kaspersky software. Then it worked.
-
Yes, it easily meets the requirement. It's a Medion P6620. Put on again ?. Hmm, I see that as the last option.
I have previously made a full backup with Acronis True Image 2010. If I play it back, Vista will also be played back. I know that I can also use it to back up individual files. But what an effort. The question is whether the switch is worth the effort. When buying the CD, support is usually included. Is there the support from Medion or MS meant? How does it work?

Doesn't anyone have any more ideas?
Would it be of any use if I omitted the external hard drive? Does the connection still work then? -
Yes, I checked beforehand.

Hello, I have the following problem.
I left the Windows 7 upgrade advisor over it first. Then I should de-install a program. Otherwise everything is OK. I did that. The upgrade runs through all stations until the end. A restart takes place at 62%. It is also successful, but then breaks off. Then Vista will be reloaded. This error is already being discussed on the Internet. There is a bugfix no. 50319 for this. I carried out that. Still it doesn't work. Does anyone have any advice?
Incidentally, I connected an external hard drive with programs. Does it benefit if I leave it out?
Incidentally, there is no error message either. Just a message that the upgrade failed and Vista will be installed. -
Of course, you can't test everything beforehand. Wasn't meant badly either. I have always appreciated your efforts.
But you didn't read that right. I wrote that I first deleted the old program and cleaned it again with CCleaner. The assumption can therefore not be.
But don't worry, I'll just try something else. -
So that wasn't your best recommendation. The program could not be installed properly (error messages, does not display anything), and now it can be uninstalled. I had previously uninstalled HT Tune and cleaned it with ccleaner.

Thanks for the tip. However, the manufacturer has not released it for Vista. It also warns of system crashes.
That can't be the case that Vista simply locks and I can't unlock it permanently. -
I clicked the right mouse button in the program, clicked "Pin to start menu" and it is also in the start menu. It also starts, but is blocked by Windows because it is not certified. If I confirm the admission, it works too. The computer just doesn't remember it. Every time I have to release the start manually.
-
Hello, I installed HD Tune on my notebook because I would like to have the subject matter in view. I put it in the startup folder. Now the program is constantly blocked and only starts when I release it and confirm this again. How can this be avoided?
-
An error message came up. But I do it now so that I create the document with Word's own PDF Prg. convert and then print out if necessary. That works.
I thank you for help though.

I just did that. I noticed something during the test print. The page was saved in .docx format. Then the effect occurs. If I print them out in .odt format, the printer will work. So it's the formats. Which format should I choose so that both the printer (Canon Pixma 4200) and the "Bullzip PDF Printer" program understand it?

Hallo,
I have the following problem. I added text to 2 graphics. everything looks as it should on the screen. When printing (as pdf) suddenly half of the content of both graphics is missing. I then connected both of them to each other (connect group), but nothing has changed. What could that be?
