I am using an iPhone. With this, surfing and retrieving emails works very well and very comfortably. Of course, in Germany it has the disadvantage of being linked to T-Mobile and its steep prices.
The display is small, but it's perfectly adequate for me. Of course I don't want to surf with it all the time, but that's not what it is intended for. That's why the surf stick is used on the Läppie every now and then.

I use mobile internet very actively. On the one hand with the mobile phone and on the other hand with a surf stick from Fonic and Sim from different providers.
Find the variant with the mobile phone very casual for on the go. A notebook is rather annoying. Notebooks and surf sticks are mainly used on vacation. -
Currently using Avast and Brain.exe on the PC. The first one has never let me down, with the second I'm not always sure.
Before Avast, I used Symantec, G Data, and Bitdefender free.Avast is easy to use and doesn't cost anything. I cannot say whether it protects me better or worse than other antivirus programs. Didn't have anything on the hard drive in the last few years to be found. No matter what program.

Here you have a nice guide:

All right then,
take a look under Extras-> Extensions-> Mark Minimize and click on Settings-> Checkmark for Minimize in the notification area of the taskbarHopefully it works now, keep your fingers crossed, for me it works perfectly.
What about the other problem? Did you check the box next to download automatically?
-
Okay, do you have the checkmark for "Check for new messages every xx minutes" and for "Automatically download new messages"inside?
Install the extension like this:
1. On the extension page, right click on "download" and save the target under a folder of your choice
2. Tools -> - Extensions-> Install-> Find folder and open fileThe thunderbird will tell you everything else;)
-
Don't be stupid
So, the best thing to do is to load the extension onto your hard drive. Then install the extension in the TB via Open file. Then close the TB and open it again.
The second problem:
Go again via Extras-> Accounts-> Server settings of the respective account (left) and see whether you have ticked the box next to Check for new messages every xx minutes and check for new messages every xx minutes. -
Here you have an extension to minimize: http://www.erweiterungen.de/detail/Minimiz…49140ecf7ca053c
Regarding the other problem again: Are your mails not retrieved automatically, but only when you click on retrieve in the TB?
If that were the case, please check your accounts under the server settings to see where you have ticked which boxes. -
Please check whether you have ticked "Show a notification" under Extras-> Settings -> - General!

Hello Ramona1987,
Unfortunately, you are not alone with the problem. I found the following thread in the TB forum: http://www.thunderbird-mail.de/forum/viewtopi…50f8c83d66ebade , maybe you will find a solution there. -

Hello Gerda,

Unfortunately couldn't see any puppies, assume the webcam is offline at night. Well, I'll try again tomorrow :)Greetings from Mrs. Hempel

What I completely forgot, maybe it's because of the firewall settings. Try deactivating it (of course only if you have a firewall!)

johnjay,
if you set up the network connection via the router, there should be no problems. With your hardware it is possible. You can find all the information you need in the links from kaiserfive.

Or, to press the "Del" key for individual entries, it should work in IE.
