So folks, the new PC is up and running with no problems. It didn't take long to assemble and it was fun. Pictures are of course also taken and in the next one or two weeks I will write something about them.
First impression:
Windows 7 is not bad, although I have to get used to it now.
Regarding the case, I have to say that for this price (less than 30 euros) you get more than you actually expected. The tool-free assembly is very successful, everything will be nice and tight. The Asgard makes a very solid impression! There are no sharp edges to injure yourself on. The workmanship is very good! You don't feel any vibrations on the case! My old PC with some cheap case is simply no comparison. It vibrates so much that it is louder than the individual fans and hard drive! This is not the case with Asgard. I'm excited! Unbeatable for the price, and I had concerns.
Have a nice rest of Sunday

As you probably know, I have a new PC in my house. (look here https://www.win-tipps-tweaks.de/forum/allgemei…4-neuer-pc.html ).
The question now arises as to how I can get my data, e-mails, e-mail addresses, etc. on the new computer. Is there a program or something? -
Since I will be on the road a lot for professional reasons in the near future, I am interested in the mobile Internet. At the moment, however, only flat rates with 5GB data volume are offered. Unfortunately I have no idea how much 5GB is. How many pages could I call up (e.g. how often could I surf the forum here?)? I do not download movies, music, etc. from the internet.
Can these netbooks be used for something like that? -
So, I ordered the PC parts, let's see when they come here!
-
It's a matter of honor! At least a little thank you for your help!
-
So now I've clicked through the page with the housings! Oh man, I didn't even know that there were so many housings! Now I'm flabbergasted. Will probably stay with Asgard after all.
Thanks for the tip with the thermal paste! Will also order them. I once decided to install the boxed cooler. If it should be too loud, I'll turn to you again!
So now my list is complete! Will send the order on Monday! Let's see if I can have the time to assemble the thing by next weekend.
Have a nice Sunday everyone! -
Hi all,
Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to ordering the new PC yet, a lot of stress at work .....
But now it starts. I have two more questions.
1. Are the boxed coolers very loud, or should I get an extra cooler? Do you have any suggestions?
2. Does it make sense to invest a little more money in the housing? My current selection costs just under 30 Teurons, so you can't expect too much, can you? It should be a normal housing that is stable and does not pass the vibrations on straight away. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you for your effort already! -
Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year 2010 to everyone !!
PS The first post in the new year!

Yes, I downloaded OpenOffice and tested it. All right, my computer only takes forever to print, it will probably be more due to the computer than to OpenOffice.
I have a LG H22NP20 DVD burner that is one year old in my PC. Is there anything against using it?
street devil if something should be what I hope not, thanks for the offer!
Quote.. maybe there is still something left for a bouquet of flowers for the woman ...;)
Yes, I'll have to come up with something, after all, my finance minister gave the OK: D
PS A happy new year to all forum users, good luck and above all health! -
Hello streetdevil, all right, I'll take a few pictures and write something about them. If I have any questions about my report, I can still ask you for help, right? Is my first time then!
PS And thanks again for the tip with the memory! -
Something else occurs to me:
prefer 2 x 2 GB or 4 x 1 GB ?? -
Thank you very much for the flowers!
The whole thing started after the two systems were recommended to me. In order to make a decision I started collecting information about the individual components. After a while I started to write down the components I wanted in my system (quality, economy, performance, etc.) After a while I had a list and to see if the offers were not overpriced I have it , compare with my compilation. They were either much more expensive or didn't have the components I wanted. So I decided to build a PC myself. Looking, collecting information and comparing began again. The head was smoking slowly. Then I have the two systems ready on paper.
street devil - Thank you for the tip about the memory, of course you are right.
System 2 will probably get me.
Thanks again! Without you I would probably have bought the Dell overpriced. Now I have a better PC for about 70 euros more, including shipping.
It was actually really fun, even if it is no longer so easy to compare CPUs, for example. In the past you compared the MHz number and it was good, today it is more complicated, not only because of the 1, 2, 3 or 4 cores but also when two CPUs with the same number of cores and the same GHz number are in front of me, it doesn't mean automatically that they are equally fast. Pretty complicated!
So much for me, I'll be back when I assemble my PC.
I may take a few pictures and, if desired, also make assembly instructions for the forum, if desired!
In any case, I'll tell you how the PC works !! -
Hello people,
for me the decision is quite difficult. I've read up on the topic in the last few days and put together two computers. But would have to assemble it yourself!

Do you think that these compilations are good and that the surcharge for an Athlon of around 50,00 euros is worth it?
Or do you have better suggestions or suggestions for changes? After careful consideration, I don't want to spend more than 500,00 euros.
Many thanks for your help!

@Blue not hard to find, people are too lazy to use the search option!
Sorry I didn't think of it at all!
Next time I'll write 100 times
"I'll use the search option!"
Thanks for the link! Read me through and if you have any questions I'll ask them here. -
Hallo,
as I am currently looking for a new PC, see here https://www.win-tipps-tweaks.de/forum/allgemei…4-neuer-pc.html
I have another question right away. Windows 7 with 32 or 64 bit?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two versions?
Which one is better for me
I'm sorry to annoy you with such questions, but I'm a DAU -
If the choice of acous wasn't so great, it would be easier for me
-
Thanks also for this tip, I think that there are no problems with the games, with today's technology, since they also run on my PC, I have some Readon 9250 graphics card in it! Even if I can't play the games, no problem, it doesn't have to be!
-
Thanks for the tip, I'll have a look around.
I have a few more questions:
What do I need PCI slots for?
1 TB hard drive isn't that a bit oversized for my application? -
The PC is used for (order of importance)
- Internet (youtube, online games)
- Office
- Image editing (scanning of postage stamps and light editing (adding arrows, zooming in, etc.))
- Watch films (DVD)
- very very seldom mostly a bit older if not to say old games (Age of Empire 2, Civilization 4)
So that's what I do with the PC. I think I don't need an i7CPU and a powerful GPU, or am I wrong. My current hard drive usage is around 45GB. The PC should also be quieter and more energy efficient.
If necessary, I could also assemble a PC from individual parts myself, unfortunately I have no experience which parts would make sense for me, I am not so familiar with the new hardware! -
We are currently using Windows Live On Care. After the current license expires, we will have to look for something new, as Microsoft is no longer making the program available.
One question right away:
We need a program that is similar to Live On Care. Is there anything like that, what can you recommend? Can I recommend Windows Security Essentials? If so, would I need a data backup program, what can you recommend?
