Good day,
I recently had a problem with my Outlook 07.
When I start the program, the main window is opened. Then the loading screen (i.e. the logo) appears and Outlook either hangs or the process is terminated (the tray icon remains until you hover over it with the mouse).
Sometimes it also happens that the program also shows the menu bars and the folder bar for the email.
But so far an error has only been displayed once. He just said that O 07 had to be ended and restarted.
If I then start the program in safe mode, only the reading area is gone, otherwise no modules are deactivated.
I've already done the deinstallation by hand and deleted everything (3 times) but it just doesn't work.
Office Diagnose has changed a file, but it doesn't work and I don't know which one. I've also had the PST files repaired
I don't know exactly when the error first occurred, but it was after installing Orcas Beta 1. I also uninstalled that, but no success.
I think you can. help further?
I am using Win XP with all updates.
Kind regards Djsammy

Can't anyone help with this problem?

So as not to leave you out in the rain, I'll give it a try, but office isn't my area.
If your Outlook starts up to some extent in Safe Mode, take a look below
Tools> Trust Center> Add-Ins
There you may find a reference to deactivated add-ins and thus a possible cause.Have you ever created a new profile?

Since you have a general problem with Outlook, I recommend a thorough deinstallation first. Even if you write that you have already done it several times, that was only rudimentary.
Here is the thorough deinstallation.
2007 Office - Completely remove and reinstall OfficeI already had that in another Post addressed.
------------------
When reinstalling:
- Set all security programs, tuning, antispam etc. to zero.gruß

Good day,
@ Paulemann: I have previously carried out this instruction 3 times and always the same after installing the program again.
I also reinstalled all frameworks, but no change either.
michael: I once switched off all add-ins as a test, but nothing helped.
In safe mode, only Eset's anti-spam module is switched off. I have the same system with the same security solutions on my notebook.
But I've never had such a mistake here.

Unfortunately, what I have to say here is often the case.
Beta and Alpha are test versions that should "actually" not be used in any "productive" environment.
If you do, a system restore point should be set as a matter of principle.

I know that it won't help you any further. But in your place (I also did earlier) I would do a data backup and set up the system again.
Also use Office 2007 with Outlook 2007 under Vista and XP. So far without any problems.

Good day,
I am a hobby programmer myself and put some programs through their paces, so I am aware of the danger.
I've tried the following:
During the installation of the Orcas Beta I ran the RegistryMonitor and recorded all the entries that were made. Then I uninstalled the beta again and manually deleted the reg entries that were not deleted.
Unfortunately I wasn't successful either.
Well, then I just set up the PC again. Was also necessary again

Hello
..and your Outlook 2007 is running again now?

Good day,
yes Outlook works again. I was able to include the old PST file again.
Kind regards Djsammy -
Thank you for your answer.
Then we can close here.

Even if my "prescriber" has finished this topic, I unfortunately have to open it again. Since I've only now found this page.
I have the same problem. All steps with reinstallation carried out as previously described and still, Outlook only starts in a secured manner.
Do I have to let a "professional" work on my PC now or is there still a way.
I would be very thankful for help.
Greetings Siegfried -
In the meantime someone has taken care of the problem.
Outlook completely deleted, but really everything and reinstalled. Outlook works perfectly without e-mail accounts. When the accounts were set up, Outlook started again only in safe mode. Maybe someone here knows a solution?
It can't be that I'm the only one who has this problem.

Hello
Since you can't find anyone here to help you ... Unfortunately ...
Outlook forum.
I hate to send questioners to other forums, but despite everything I hope it helps you.
Would be nice if you would post here if and how you were helped.
