Hello
Is there a way to change the language in Windows XP Professional? I have an English CD (I think) and would like Windows in German.
Make Windows XP Professional CD in English to German

I believe 99,9% of the time that this is not possible, at least I haven't seen multilingual Windows XP yet. This was the case with the Win 95/98 version, but not since NT 2000.

Hello Dragon,
Basically, Microsoft offers the possibility of giving an English Windows (only Professional!) any language interface since Win2000, even separately for each set up user. When logging in on the same PC, a French interface appears on one, a Russian on the other and a German interface on the third, in each case as he has set it for himself. This is intended for large multinational corporations with a diverse workforce. Unfortunately, Microsoft only sells the required multilanguage packs to customers with a corresponding volume license. The normal end customer looks into Windows when he needs this functionality, he is refused the purchase. (The only exceptions are research and teaching, as universities with a corresponding license also use this multilanguagepack or give it to their students as part of "Academic Use". The contact person is usually the respective HRZ)
So it is not surprising that most of them, like Cuckoo, do not even know that their Windows could actually be a savings talent ...More info: Frequently Asked Questions: Windows Server 2003, Windows XP & Windows 2000 MUI
Regards
Spark pluck.PS: This is ONLY possible with one English Windows Professional. According to the manufacturer, the already localized German version does not offer this option, nor do the home versions.

I found the other CD's are 4 pieces (at the bottom in the box ^^) ´Could install many languages with them and work now.
