Hello friends,
i have a big problem with windows explorer. He smears me at least 5 times a day. I don't have a nerve to open it anymore. The same error message every time: "Windows Explorer has stopped working> We are looking for a solution to the problem". I've been to Microsoft's support site before but apparently there is no fix for Explorer issues. I have set the content of all folders to "List". The NTFS file system stores the date and time of the last access in the attributes of each file. If you then open an extensive folder, this causes numerous unnecessary write accesses. I have already switched off this function via the command line: fsutil behavior set disablelastaccess 1.
Actually, that should improve the performance of the Explorer-but it doesn't help. Maybe several users have already had the problem and can give me a tip.
Kind regards, TOYM
