Error:
When I want to watch videos I get an unpredictable freeze, sometimes it runs for 3 minutes, sometimes 1 second then the screen freezes and I can only turn off the computer by pulling the plug ...
Really annoying...
History:
One day my computer just didn’t boot, after some back and forth and clearly audible hard disk noises I assumed that the hard disk was defective, so I swapped and noticed that the IDE controller of the board, i.e. new disk and new board, was inserted , Windows 7 64bit reloaded and noticed that the videos always hang up. (Player independent)
All imaginable updates made, even pulled a beta driver for the GraKa to exclude that, re-installed Windows 7, reformatted disks, etc. etc.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Processor is a QuadCore Q8400 with 4 GB Ram which are also recognized.
GraKa is a Geforce GTX 460.
Prozzi and GraKa are both still relatively new ~ 6 months approximately and ran without problems before the board change ...
