Hello!
My € 400 laptop from Acer from 2009 unfortunately has a display damage. At the moment it doesn't show anything anymore, until recently it was extremely buggy. It looked like some paint had dripped on the inside of the display. Does a repair pay off here or should you confidently knock the laptop in the bin or keep it to be on the safe side, as it is connected to ext. Monitor still working?
I have now looked for something and think to myself that I want a laptop with good hardware, because you never know what the next operating systems will be, but it doesn't have to be a gaming laptop either. Or does it make sense to connect the laptop to the TV via HDMI and then play? It's probably too cumbersome, isn't it?
I could of course be satisfied with a € 350 laptop again. However, it does have a weaker processor, significantly less RAM, less hard drive capacity and only onboard graphics.
There are no upper limits, but I think that I have found a few good devices that are good in terms of price / performance ratio and are also not too expensive at around 1000 €. Here they are:
Acer Aspire V3-771G-73611675Makk, black (NX.RYQEV.001) | Skinflint at Austria
Acer Aspire 7750G-7671675Bnkk (NX.RW6EG.002) | Skinflint at Austria
Acer Aspire Ethos 5951G-2671675Wikk (LX.RHS02.084) | Skinflint at Austria
Are the devices recommendable or which ones would you order? Or is it pointless to spend € 650 more if you only make the basic requirements of the machine?
I think I've heard that Acer is quick to give up if the warranty expires. I am also familiar with such a case from my family, which is why I can imagine that it is anything but a coincidence. Or do the laptops only last three years? In any case, I would be happy to hear from you. Kind regards
