Hi all,
had bought my wife a new notebook with pre-installed Win7 some time ago. There was no Windows for this DVD, but only one recovery partition on the hard drive. After I had a hard drive damage on my own notebook, it occurred to me again that I did not create a system image DVD for my wife after purchasing it.
If I wanted to do this afterwards, I would have to save 86 GB on DVDs.
But I do not want that. I just want to save the Windows installation with all drivers and - in the worst-case scenario - use this backup DVD to install a fully functioning and bare Windows, but with all the drivers. Without all the preinstalled shareware programs that I had thrown down.
I can find a lot of instructions on the Internet on how complete system images can be created, but none on how I can implement what I want here.
This should be feasible, right?
The support from Sony said that I can get the drivers from them, but as far as I remember correctly, that costs around 50.
