Hallo,
I don't know now how many reports I have already read together on this topic and how many msoe.dll's etc. I have moved back and forth. In any case, the fact is that it still doesn't work for me. So now I have completely deleted both directories (32/64). (Frustration)
However, I still don't want to give up completely and I have hope that I can get it to work again.
Maybe someone here knows a page where I can download everything I need in full?
Because ~ I still have a lot of files from the directory, but I can no longer determine which belong together.

Hi,
what exactly is your problem? Can't start Winmail? Do you get an error message?
-
Yes, it does not start, but there is also no error message.

Hi,
is the Winmail program an email client?
If so, do you have the developer side? I just found tools for opening Winmaildat files. -
yes this is an old Windows e-mail client, it no longer works in Windows 8. The program runs anyway, but you have to change 2-3 files.

That means ?

The last statement was phrased a bit incorrectly, I should have written correctly that WinMail would run normally again if these files were exchanged. Now of course the question arises ... Which files and where do they come from?
I've been working on this for weeks and compiling everything possible, the file msoe.dll and the msidcrtl30.dll, and in any case also the appropriate WinMail.exe. The whole thing from Windows 7, of course, and then it comes down to 32 or 64 bit and I don't know what else.
Obviously not that easy after all ...
