My dog is now out of the "teen" age and I'm wondering whether I should bar him or not. What do the dog owners advise among you? What do you give as food? Do you advise against the BARF or do you advise the BARF?
What do your dogs get to feed?

Where there is a pro, there is of course a contra - as always. You should first find out what the barf means in detail. on https://hundepower.de/hund-barfen-ja-oder-nein/ there is a very good article on the subject. My dog has always been fed raw food because I instinctively assumed that it was healthier and more appropriate for him. I didn't even know then that they said barfen.

Our dog - unfortunately already deceased - had a mixture of canned food, dry food and occasionally meat from the pet shop. In addition, there were always leftovers from our lunch or half a bread roll for him. It was easy to digest and recommended by the vet. The dog was never sick until the end of its life. The main thing is that the dog feels comfortable.

Mainly canned food, dry food only sometimes.

Ours gets dry food mixed with the leftovers from us, except for chicken bones or raw stuff
