Hello people,
can someone tell me which NAS server is actually sufficient for my home?
There are really all kinds of things in all kinds of variations.

Hi,
there are many different ones. Why do you need a NAS server exactly?
Basically, the model is completely sufficient here:

This is a model with a hard drive, there are cheaper ones without a hard drive, but it's worth it.
It just depends on what and to what extent you want to manage via a NAS and feed it into a network. The NAS named by XP is certainly sufficient for beginners. If you want to combine several hard drives into a raid system, you will of course have to spend a lot more. For me, an external hard drive attached to a FritzBox is sufficient for central access to photos, videos and my MP3 collection. So it always depends on the desired goal.

Hi all,
It always depends on what you want to use the server for. But a Synology NAS with two 4 TB hard drives without hot plug-in should actually be used at home. Usually HDD hard disks are used in Sreverns. There are also extra sever hard drives, such as those from Western Digital, available, which can then be built into the server.
