Hallo,
how can i do the windows product activation of vista legal work around so that I do not have to reactivate when reinstalling, provided I do not change the hardware?
Do you have to back up any file like in XP (wpa.dbl, but not found in Vista)?

That shouldn't be allowed to work yet.
Because even google doesn't tell you anything about this topic ...
Go back to XP -

Counter question: Why should the activation be bypassed?
With a legal Vista you have nothing to fear!
Incidentally, this sentence also applies to other products / programs.Edit: I would like to make it clear once again that with the use of software you are also subject to certain terms of use. These clearly define how you can use your legally acquired software and under what conditions this software is to be used.

@ Paulemann: Right, actually you have nothing to fear, but it would be quicker to simply exchange a file and then I would not have to call again and pass on the whole numbers. I also think that Microsoft doesn't have to know how often I reinstall my Vista as long as I adhere to the license terms and don't swap the hardware.
How is it now with OEM versions and mainboard? I have a SB-Hoem Premium, I read that the mainboard is not allowed to be exchanged. Can or may I reactivate with another mainboard over the Internet? -
Maybe you read this again News from Blue and follow the link.

Otherwise, wait a little. There will definitely be more reports on the subject in the future. Now there is actually still no time.
--------------------------------
By the way, the telephone activation is only necessary if the internet connection is not available or you have already exhausted the quantity of activations. -
That's my problem, if I didn't have to reactivate if I haven't changed the hardware, then these 10 online activations would be used up quickly.
Thank you for the answers .

Hi gandalf_32
Acronis from build 4871 also works under Vista!
With an image of your OS you indirectly bypass the activation and you can save yourself a full installation including all programs. "is the money really worth it"gruß

I can only confirm what the council also said! I installed and activated Vista Ultimate. Then I created a backup with Acronis True Image 10 (you can either make a backup on a hidden partition or on CD or DVD).
If necessary, you can reload the image (it is already activated and completely virgin like at the beginning). Usually it only works with identical hardware. There is also software that can reimagine it on dissimilar hardware, including the operating system. However, this might be illegal under certain circumstances. But if you always use one and the same computer (i.e. the original hardware) this is not a problem. -
Hmmm, so I've made up my mind to always keep my computer up to date by upgrading, in my opinion you get more out of it than if you always buy a new computer. The program would probably not be so suitable for that.
Well, I always have to activate again, I already copied the invoice for after the 10th activation .;) I ordered on the Internet, my name is still on the invoice :(. But I could with a simple one Cover the black box.: p Microsoft doesn't have to know everything;).

hi gandalf_32,
No, if you do a new update after each new hardware installation, this will be done over a period of 3 months with 4 new hardware installations CAN'T exceed, "shouldn't be a problem"

Of course, not upgrading the RAM, but it is necessary when replacing hard drives anyway, but this is also necessary when replacing mainboards, but it doesn't happen that often.
-
With one of the mentioned image programs (also available free of charge) you don't need to reinstall and activate it even after replacing the hard drive.
And it does not have to be reactivated after every hardware replacement. And to be very clear: Bypassing activation is not LEGAL anyway. Because getting around is always illegal.
(Was not legal to copy files with XP either)If there are 10 online activations then I ask myself how often you want to exchange hardware to empty them.
I have my current computer for 2 years, reload the image about once a month and I will certainly have a new part in the computer every month. And the online activations of my XP Pro are still not used up. I activated my laptop once over the phone because I integrated the SP2 into my own InstallCD created from the original CD, now I can activate it online again normally (already worked three times.)
Question: why work around something, if you take proper care of things, it works just fine.
