Hello I have a problem and I had XP pro. on it and tried Windows Vista and it worked a few months ago, but after that I put xp back on without probs. If I now format XP and want to reinstall Vista then it works without problems but only until shortly before the end because then I have to enter the user name and I always leave out the password, then the screen comes up with the message "Wait for the Computer performance is checked "comes. He manages half of the check, but then the pc simply shuts down and remains on standby for about 2 minutes and then starts up again by itself. Then I have to enter a username again but the one I entered before is busy, he says so I entered a different name and then the message "Wait while the performance of the PC is checked" comes up for 1 second, so again the same thing but he does the test does not start but then starts up normally, so desktop preparation, etc. So where it was then installed with detours I immediately went to the user accounts and lo and behold I had 2 user accounts and deleted one and it is also stable. I then had another version of Vista installed, one with 32 bit, but the same thing happens there too, with the performance index under computer properties and determine performance, it works because I come to 4,6. What could be the problem? A few weeks ago I had installed a Sata hard drive and a new graphics card and also a new chipset!
