Hi all,
I want to buy a new printer because my current one has given up. And exactly after a week when the guarantee had expired, what do you say about it.
Something like that happened to me with a few more devices. It's like programming the devices to break after the warranty expires
Well, like I said, I'm looking for a good printer.
- It should be an inkjet printer,
- Doesn't cost much,
- Print good pictures.
The second and third do not belong together, but I am sure that there are also printers that are cheap and good at the same time.
What do you think are the best printers?

I know the problem too, but they give such a guarantee for a reason. It lasts as long as you think the device will work.
In many cases things work much longer, but sometimes they break immediately after the warranty. I've had that a couple of times too.
As for the printer, I've never had a cheap printer that was good, so I don't think that cheap and good go together.
Why didn't you just check online ?? You can find a lot of things that printers compare or recommend a few good ones. Here a z. B.). The best printers of 2015, what more could you want
The prices aren't on the side I think, but you can at least read how good those are, so it can definitely be of help to you. But you have to look for a shop yourself, that would be enough help from me. -
I still use an "old" multifunction printer from HP (F4280) and can therefore not make a current recommendation. Devices also died shortly after the warranty expired.
In order to choose a new printer, I would also look around the net, read reviews and then decide. Recommended sites:

Hello wonka,
is of course difficult to say about printers that you have never had.
I've only been using Cannon printers for about 15 years, simply because I'm happy with them and one of the lowest costs!
I currently have an MG5250 because on the one hand I have to scan something from time to time (or my daughter for school) and on the other hand I often print a CD. Fewer photos now, but I've already printed some out there. In my opinion, the quality is absolutely excellent and that with a cartridge price of less than two euros per piece (NoName).
Now of course there are also much smaller and cheaper devices, but most of the time it is the case that with the very cheap only one color cartridge is in it and you then need a new one even if the others are still full. However, experience shows that the three colors always empty very quickly. There are two cartridge printers for this, which have a black and a three-color cartridge. This is generally the cheapest way to do it. Now it depends on how much you print, the very cheap around 30 € are just a bit from the processing ... Uh .. Keep it simple, it sounds like the last sheet for every printout . But it's actually also logical that you have to save somewhere. A friend of mine has an Epson XP 30 (or something like that, I can't look it up now) it definitely cost a lot of money and you really mean it won't even bring out the last sheet of paper. Print but also photos and that for over two years. -
I'm also looking for a new printer. I find the topic very, very annoying. Especially the cartridge story. But the proposed Canon device definitely sounds very interesting.

Yes, I think everyone swears by what they have and are satisfied with. In my (but quite large) circle of friends there are almost all brands around and nobody says anything really negative about "his" device. It's actually not really about the brand, but rather about the price. For, say, 30 €, no manufacturer can offer you something really special, at 130 € everyone will see that they are offering a top device (otherwise they won't sell it). If you have now looked at a device and selected it because it might fit you in terms of size, color, with or without a display, etc., then you simply look for ink for it on the internet. There is plenty of choice and nowadays a lot of people only sell the ink in packs of five or ten because otherwise the shipping costs are higher. It takes some time, of course, but it's definitely worth it.
Of course there are also people who, as stated in the printer description, only use the original manufacturer cartridges. But in principle it is exactly the same, just look at the cost of the cartridges before buying a printer. If you don't want to order anything, but want to buy something on site, it is usually even easier because in the various markets the printer cartridges are not far from the printers and the prices can be compared very easily. -

I think Epson printers are great!
