The second hard drive slot on the Aldi notebook is really new. According to Medion, any 2,5-inch disks can be plugged into this, thus expanding the memory. This enables the security-conscious buyer, for example, to save the data internally on the second hard drive. However, RAID operation is not possible.
The notebook shows weaknesses in the graphics (only an internal solution from Intel is used) and in the display: Although this is advertised as HD +, it does not support Full HD. Virus protection is also poor, as is usual with discounter notebooks: the buyer is asked to check out again after 90 days.
