Nowadays, burning is simply part of the PC for most people and to make our holiday videos or party photos durable for eternity all you need is a disc with a diameter of approx. 12 cm! The most precious memories or greatest moments only on a small CD or DVD. Many are not aware of which options or different formats the CD's or DVD's support. Here is an overview of the formats.
For the CD there are:
Audio CD, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, SVCD, VCD and MVCD.
The big brother of the CD is the DVD.
This adds a few more formats:
DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, SACD, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD ± R and DVD ± RW.
In order to be able to burn at all, you need burning software.
